Dell Inspiron 1545 Windows 7 Mac OS X SL Dual Boot Problem
Hi guys,
I've successfully set up Mac OS X SL and Win7 dual boot. However I then went into Disk Management in Windows to set up a second NTFS partition. When I did this, I'm not sure, but I think it turned all of my Mac OS X (Journaled) partitions - boot, main and backup - into MSDOS - FAT filesystems instead of MOSX - Journaled.
I've tried going into the install disk and it says the same thing
If I try to access my ex-Mac partitions on Windows (windows still works), it says I must format the drive to access it.
I know it's probable I'll have to erase and start again, but is there any way to recover my files first?
happy to give extra information as needed
Thanks
S

Unless Winblows managed to erase all of your drives and then reformat them without you giving permissions its hard to beleive. However im using the same model and it can be a real bitch to partition had to try four times just to get SL and Win7 xD. Try MacDrive for Win7 that might work or else install EasyBCD and see if you can boot into SL again....also what bootloader are you using? Best of luck ~ Szandor
