Default Audio driver for Realtek Acer 5535

I have installed OSX 10.5.7 from iAtkos V7 which has gone onto my Acer 5535 AMD Turion x2 system fine. I have installed with Voodoo HDA driver and i have sound but it is very distorted and not running correctly.
If i try to enter the "sound" option under system preferences i receive a Kernel panic but upon reboot it boots back in OK.

Graphics card & track pad are OK and i have wireless working via PDAnet and iPhone due to my Atheros not being supported.

Can anyone recommend an audio driver that will work with this system. I have tried to identify the exact model of Realtek to help but Everest, System preferences etc just report "Realtek HD Audio".

    Thanks
    Chase

    Hi there,
Look like you've got most of them. Go to kexts.com to see if your audio kexts is available. You can download Hardware info app, under utility, to help you ID your device.
    Regards,
