    Default ATI Radeon X1800 XT

    Hey there.
I just want to play TF2 on my fresh installed Snow Leopard.
But I can't start it, I think it's because of my graphics card.
It is a ATI Radeon X1800 XT.

    How do I setup everything?
    Can anybody help me?

    Sorry for those nooby questions...

I used this kext for my ati radeon 1800 xl along with chameleon boot loader graphics enabler=y in boot.plist

just edit the info.plist with your graphics number
here is what mine is. iopcimatch 0x71091002
here to download the kext MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Hi, thanks for that file, it's the only thing so far that I can find to make my X1800 work in snow leopard. However, I think I can only get it to work in 32-bit mode, otherwise I get a Panic.

Have you had your card working under 64-bit mode?

you just change this <string>0x71091002</string> to match your graphics card id in info.plist in the kext i uploaded. with out this kext i still have 3d but with a messed upped mouse cursor when i play anything 3d or fullscreen movies.
