I have a Samsung R730 and install Mac OSX Snow Leopard. All is working without the Atheros AR9285. Can some one help me, pleace.

Sad to say the AR9285 is not supported as of yet, there has not been much movement at the current time either, there are only two options for you.
A. Get a USB wifi adapter Ralink has macos support for many of it's usb chipsets check before buying though
B. install a 1/2 height pci-e wifi adapter of a different brand (depending on your netbook/laptop this may not be possible some manufacturers lock down the mini pci-e slot, I just ordered myself the 1/2 height dell 1510 it's a broadcom wireless N which is recognized as a Apple airport card (it's based on a broadcom chipset which apple uses )

I have used the the zd 1211 (unreliably) usb adapter (there might be better drivers now)
And the realtek 8187B USB (with good results) make sure it's B the 8187L doesn't have much support at this time.
However the ralink USB chipsets seem to have the best driver support at this time. But really if you don't want to use a foreign utility and want to
go through airport you have to use a built in card that is compatible. Google your model with the keywords compatibillity and snowleopard and you might find out what others did.

The AR9285 has kexts available now. Some people are having issues with Unknown Locale or missing wireless networks, however.
