Default Apple USB Device problem with Asus M3A78 Mobo and iAtkos v7

I have a problem with the usb on my hackintosh. My Mobo is the Asus m3a78 and I have iAtkos v7 10.5.7 installed successfully. What happens is that my apple aluminum keyboard along with my ipod stops working whenever I plug in any other usb device into my computer. I have tried installing OSX with the USB fix from the install disc and this is what happens. Before the USB fix my computer wouldnt even boot with my apple aluminum keyboard plugged in, but it booted fine with a different USB keyboard plugged in. Any help in resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated
edit: if this is any help I use the VooDoo 9.7.0 kernal.
Crap I just realized I posted this in the wrong section. sorry. should be in leopard not snow leopard.
