Default Anyone FULL CI/QE/resolution on any AGP Video Card in Snow Leopard??

    Hi everyone,

Anyone out there using an AGP Video Card in Snow Leopard that is supporting full CI/QE and resolution change?

    Please share your experience!

    Cheers!

    N.M.

(p.s. Asking because I haven't come across anyone that has AGP video fully working yet)

The only one I can find is:

    HCL 10.6.0 - OSx86

Hardware Name Board-Manufacturer Notes OpenCL / QE / CI Resolution Fully Working w/o Patch
GeForce 6200 XFX use dsdt.aml, dual display working Yes Yes Yes

    Can anyone else confirm more?

Talking making progress with agp 6600GT

Hey there fellas and sorry to start up an old thread but i have made some progress with an agp nvidia 6600GT with iPortable_Snow_x86 running on an old acer 5700GT system (intel 865 socket 478 with prescott 3.0Ghz cpu,ddr 3200 ram,ide driver)

now from what i can tell is i have acceleration but no quartz so far but still working on it

at the moment system is only 32bit running the legacy_kernel

    i used the following kexts

    del the NVDANV50HAL.kext

    used kext helper to install

    Geforce.kext
    NVDANV40.kext
    NVDAResman.kext

and changed my com.apple.boot.plist in the /extra to the following
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

and nvidia app from the I portable
rebooting made a huge difference in the display as i could change res,and was brighter and now things didn't chug minimising and maximising

    no full ci/qe but close

got sound using the leopard ac97 kext before doing a new complied dsdt
and the network driver for the realtek 8139c card had some major issues from locking pc to kernel crashes ended up using leopard 8139c kext and putting in 2 locations in the /extra/extensions ionetworkfamily contents plugins dir

file used pefenrtl8139ethernet.kext and also installed the file with kext helper and inside the ionetworking contents plugins dir coz keeping the original apple8139 driver just caused slow downs of the network, lockups, network collisions
