ALC888:sound problem
Hi,
I installed MAC OS X 10.6.5 using Hazard DVD then updating with combo.
Hardware :
MB : Asus P7H55-M
Proc : Intel Core I5 750
2x2048 DDR32 1333 Corsair RAM
GC : MSI 210 512Mo (nvidia chipset)
Software is viewed like this by OS X :
Proc : 2,71Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Memory : 4Gb 1600Mhz DDR3
GC : nVidia GeForce GTX 285 OpenGL Engine [EFI]
Version du système : Mac OS X 10.6.5 (10H574)
Version du noyau : Darwin 10.5.0
Volume de démarrage : SYSTEM
Mode de démarrage : Normal
Nom de l’ordinateur : Fred’s Mac Pro
Nom de l’utilisateur : Fred (fred)
Mémoire virtuelle sécurisée : non activée
Noyau et extensions 64*bits : Non
The system works like a charm but I meet only two problems :
- The first is about the sound. It works perfectly in I tunes, but it play in fast and sizzles a little when using DVD player or VLC.
I'm using voodooHDA 64 kext with prefs and sound is recognized by the system. I tried different settings in Audio Midi Setup utility without success.
- The second problem is the avchd import : when inserting SD card Imovie crash with this error : "error: Error getting a reference to /options."
I'll open a new thread for this problem.
I'm newbie with Hackintosh but I understand quickly :-)
Could you tell me what's wrong with my sound ?
PS : sorry for my poor english, I'm French
