X-Fi Kext - Little Help
First of all specs:
AM2 AMD 3800+ X2
Abit NF-M2 nView mobo | 6150 Chipset w/ 430 Southbridge
IDE HD
X-Fi Xtreme Music sound card
2GB DDR2 800 Ram at 400Mhz 4-4-4-12
XFX 8600GT 256Mb
DVD-RW Drive
Finally got Kalyway 10.5.2 installed and running on my AMD machine - not a small feat. Ethernet Works now but audio is a no go.
I have two options here:
X-Fi: Preferable, obviously, but I need the kext which may or may not exist.
nForce built in audio: Need kext because I didn't choose any audio drivers on the initial install. Location of these would be a big help.
Which one would y'all recommend going for?
Thanks

Creative X-Fi cards are on the incompatibility list on the OSx86 wiki. I have one too, I'm bummed that I'll have to let it go, or at least only use it in Windows. Guess I'll be getting a Xonar U1...
