Hello. I recently instatlled iATKOS v5i 10.5.5 on my custom PC.

Specs:

Proc: Intel Core 2 Duo
Mobo: nVidia nForce 630i (SOUND onboard not woring)
HDDs: 500GB SATA (instal)/ 1TB SATA (Ubuntu 8.10/ TinyXP/ Blag 90k)
Video: nVidia 512MB 7300GT (not working?)
Kernel: Voodoo

Ready? Here are my issues:

1.) Sound - I tried installing Taruga_AD1988b_rev4_Installer.zip and AppleAzaliaAudio.kext.zip from here, but don't really know what I'm doing. Am I supposed to install both or only one?

2.) Video - This is kinda strange. I have the 512MB nVidia 7300GT. I installed NVInject during the installation. When I try to watch Jizzed in My Pants on YouTube, the HD version plays fine, but the standard version stops after 2 or 3 seconds every time I try. Is this driver related?

VRAM says 256MB, but my card is 512MB. I read here about modding my card's ROM. . . and it uh. . . scares the shit outta me. Any info that I can get would be great. Lemme know if I need to post anything else.

Hey you have a similar card to mine (nVidia Go 7600 512MB). Yours still isn't working properly as "Core Image" is stuck in "software" as opposed to "Hardware", and "Quarts Extreme" is "Not Supported". These are my issues also. I had it working a little over a year ago, but now trying with 10.5.4/6.

Yep. Do you know how to fix it??? I have yet to find a solution.

NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS (512MB) (AGP)

i had probs installing this v5i so i tryed the ideneb v1.3 10.5.5 and installed with the 9.2_Sleep_kernel. picked all the audio drivers and selected the nvidia drivers listed for my card.

(512MB) card

after finding my chipset and optional drivers i needed i got it working like a charm.

everything works and the video is MAD NICE !!

OK I just reinstalled Kalyway 10.5.2 clean. I installed the ALC883Audio.mpkg with the standard options (3 ports), and restarted. Still no sound. I don't wanna make a wrong move here, any suggestions on what I should do next?

I followed this forum for the ALC882, but don't have XP installed, so I can't use the method listed to find the vendor and device IDs for UAA Bus Driver For High Definition Audio. The one listed is 0x27d88086, but that won't work for me. I got them for the card itself (0x10ec0883) though.
