    Smile [SOLVED] Need Audio Drivers ALC272

    Hi @ all,
    I need Audio Drivers for the ALC272 Soundcard. The card is used in the new 10.1 Inch Acer Aspire One D150. The Azalia.pkg doesn´t work.

    The Guide for the Aspire One 8,9 Inch doesn´t work. I´ve got the 10.1 Inch Aspire One.

    That guide is for the Acer A150, which isn't the D150. Similar but different. The A150 is still a 8.9". The D150 is the 10.1".

    Anyone? The stupid Acer naming lead me to believe that osx86 install on the D150 was painless, for which it is not. I've yet to get ethernet, sound or anything going correctly. Most of the AAO support in all 3 major distributions don't do the trick.

    If anyone didnt try yet, if you guy didnt found any info in google, you need to try then, try to follow the guide and post your progress, good luck

    Oh I tried. The sound chip in the D150 is the ACL272 which isn't the same chip in the AAO A150. That guide doesn't help and it doesn't help to post to that guide about install problems with a different netbook.

    I've been following this thread on the D150:

    Hello! I created kext for Acer Aspire One D150 (ALC272). Full working! With autodetect :-)

    added: removed knock-knock in speaker, HDAEnabler inside AppleHDA.kext

    This totally worked for me! Thank you!!! I've been looking for this forever.. VooDooHDA didn't work for me.
