    Exclamation Silicon Image 3114 (Sil3114)

Hi, I have bought a PCI Sata Controller with a SIL3114 chipset onthe understanding that if I edit the VIAATA.kext it would work, however I have tried this and it just meant that I could not access some of my other drives.

I am currently running 10.5.6 and am in need of some help

If anyone has got this card to work please post and let me know.

    Thanks

    Hi,
I too have problem getting SiI 3114 working on iPC 10.5.6.
Everything else works apart from VoodooPower and SATA. I have a K8NE-Deluxe motherboard with AMD64 3000+ and GeForce 6200.

I would say I am enjoying what I have, since I installed OSx on IDE drive, I am still looking for help on the SiI 3114.

    Cheers,
    /Prem

You had to buy Sil 3124 or 3132 chipset. They have OSX Leo drivers on their home site.
