[Problem] After successful installs machine won't boot
I've tried iAtkos, iDeneb, and iPC distros of OSx86 but even after successful installs, my machine won't boot.
I know I'm doing something wrong in "customize" because others have had success with my hardware (but never post the options they used).
cpu: Celeron D
mobo: ECS P4M800PRO
chip: VIA P4M800
ram: 1.5 GB DDR2
AGPx8: 5500 256MB
lan: D-Link PCI
People have posted saying to first install "only essential" patches and add drivers later... so which are essential??
I figured kernel (voodoo), chipset (VIA), and video (NVinject - 256mb) along with required patches (seatbelt fix). What am I missing?
Should I remove my pci lan card? Disable serial, parellel, & midi ports in BIOS?
What about smbios, what should I choose? Do I have to check the speed of my RAM in BIOS or something?
Hope someone can help. Thanks!

Hello, try selecting custom install only a single kernel, install it until you get boot macintosh, selects only the kernel and AHCPI, after getting started, you're testing hardware, audio, video, etc.si one is that you do not have to work search the internet for drivers, I did so until I've achieved, but keep in mind to start from scratch, you must have a single partition and a single disk, where it could then have a working dual boot with windows or linux, but must first get install leopard, luck.
I thought it wouldn't boot without a chipset patch/kext.
I'll try installing (only one kernal with AHCPI) to a fresh SATA hard disk, then an IDE if doesn't work.
I have 3 hard disks so not worried about dual booting.
Thanks for the suggestion.
I had to make several trying either, until the version of Iatkos 5, choosing the TOH kernel I boot without problems, I had to find the sound drivers and network, whether wired or wireless, the video yet I got it, and so I can not read, but the screen looks good, I love most, lucky, if you need something you have to do is ask.
sorry for mi english,i´m spanish.

I didn't find AHCPI in "customize" or my BIOS.
I installed iDeneb, selected only a kernal (voodoo 9.5.0), booted got "waiting for root". Reinstalled with kernal and chipset driver, booted with -v -F, got farther this time but it stopped when it detected my NTFS drive (with XP on it).
I'll try with iAtkos tomorrow, thanks!
