Trackpad and keyboard work on installation, but not on system
I'm new in this forum, so if this would be better at some other area, feel free to move this.
I've pretty confused as I've been trying to cram Leopard on my Acer Extensa 5620z. iATKOS has worked the best by far, but in every distro, I've had an identical problem with the trackpad and keyboard. They don't work, I have to use USB keyboard and mouse.
But during installation, they both work beautifully, which by my logic should dictate that the drivers are present in the installation disk, but just don't copy over to the system. Is there a way to dig those from the installer?
I tried to fix the problem with a PS2 controller kext (ACPIPS2Nub.kext) since I read that those are connected to the system via it, but it had no effect.
It's a bug on some distros
It's a bug on some distros. Use iDeneb 1.4 10.5.6 - you'll likely not have the problem with that one
