Sound not working acting....wierd

Okay so ive tried various patches and sometimes my sound preferences has an entry in output of HD audio device and sometimes it says no audio device detected. either way i get no sound with or without the headphone jack plugged in. i installed with Kalaway 10.5.2 AMD_Intel DVD and had a few issues with had. im on a Gateway T1625 (W350A) and my sound card is Sigmatel I think its the 9250 but im not sure cuz i used the codec dump with the HDA patcher. idk what im doing wrong but i cant get it to work for the life of me..

Found out from gateway support its the SigmaTel STAC9205
