OSX 10.5.7 - No internet connection

Among all OS X distributions I was able to install iATKOS only; Time Machine is not working, when you click any place, white cube appears there, but I don't really care about it. I don't have internet working. I use AT&T regular DSL modem; I have Intel motherboard, I installed drivers for Internet during MAC installation. When I plug cable in, it blinks green, but nothing changes. I type "ifconfig", but there is no difference if I plug cable or not, it doesn't see Ethernet connection. I use AT&T regular modem. Internet works perfectly on Vista and 7. Any suggestions? What would you do to fix it?
Also tried Vanilla. Sound wasn't working, neither internet...
My ethernet connector is built-in Intel.

i have same problem, i choosed right drivers in mac installation, but still dont working , it don't find cable

I have a computer of " H.p pavilion a6540in " .
Processor = Intel(R) core(TM)2Duo CPU E4700 @2.60Ghz 260 GHz
Ram = 2.00 GB , system type = 32 bit operating sytem , using = window7 Now,
Display adapters = NVIDIA GEForce 8400 GS (micrsoft corporation -WDDMv1.1)
And Network adapters = NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller .

I was also installed a macOS on my Pc it works . but Ethernet is not working ....
tell me plz which driver i will used so it works.
Give me a link of that driver and name also...
