NVInjector doesn't work with 8800 GTS

Hi,
Look likes it does load the kexts though, says rom netkas.org. So this kexts is not working although it ID your card correctly but loss your display ID.
So, I think your next stop is NVinject and EFIStudio. Be patient, sometimes it takes a few tries before you get it, at least you still have some options to try. I got a 4500HD that may never see its kexts anywhere.
In the mean time, we should try your resolution temporarily. If it works then you may be a little more happy, perhaps.
In your com.apple.boot.plist, make an entry

<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1280x1024x32</string>

Or whatever your resolution maybe, the 32 is depth bit, and then save it. You may have to play with permission and password before you can put that entry in the file by right click and select Get info, may have to change the file containing folder permission to read/write first.
At least you can check to see if your new kexts is working by go to system profiles now, so try other kexts/method.
Let us know how the entry work for you, till you get the right kexts.

Edit: Do you use Chameleon v2 RC4 as your boot loader? May want to try that.

how can i know which bootloader i am using? Sorry for being such a noob. And thabks fir your answers. I left the house right now, im on my iphone, i will be back in 5-6 hours. I will try nvinjector and efi but i dont know how to. Can u tell me how to do?

I uninstalled ATY_init, installed NVinject.kext, added my card to boot from EFI Studio rebooted, repaired permissions, deleted extensions.mkext and cleared kext caches, rebooted, nothing changed. Still no quartz extreme support and core image is still software.

On NVinject's site it says something about making nvinject work with 8800 gts/gtx/ultra cards but they are things i don't understand. Even if i try to make those steps i can't because it requires .plist editor, the site has a link to apple where you can download that software but that software requires 10.5.8 or later to install. This is the site i am talking about;(scroll a bit down to installation to see what i am talking about)

edit: i also can't change resolution. I added the line you wrote. Deleted the code efi studio added. The part where it is 1280x1024x32 is underlined in red. When i right click on it it says "12801024x32" and "1280x102432"
i am guessing it is like spell checker in safari, it means something is wrong. I select either of them and nothing changes. I still have no option to select 1280x1024 on system preferences > display. What am i doing wrong?

also you asked my bootloader. I think it is chameleon but i don't know the version. Where do i look at it from? It's just the iDeneb 1.3 DVD. Whichever bootloader it installs.

I will take a look later. .plist you can just use text editor, came with Leopard. Mine is 1.6 so I am not sure about 1.3. Your chameleon must be the old one. You can download at kexs.com. At boot screen, there should be a chameleon icon, or at top left corner.
Try boot option: Graphics Mode=1280x1024x32
I think that the syntax, but could be "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32"
Try that see what happen. Let me know.

ok it worked. Resolution is 1280x1024 now. All i needed was a reboot :)

You said my chameleon has to be the old one. So do i need to download the new chameleon bootloader to make my gfx card work? I mean by saying "you can download at kexts.com" do you mean downloading the boot loader?

If so which boot loader do i need and how do i install a boot loader without losing any info or anything from my mac.

What I like about mac OSX is its beautiful graphic, and that required video card hardware/kexts in working order.
You've try so many different and it still doesn't work, and we don't know for sure the reason, so your option is to try whatever remedy available, if you're willing to.
Maybe your system core is dated. So the option is to upgrade your boot loader, kernel to 9.8, or set aside a small partition to install Ideneb 1.6 10.5.8 for testing, perhaps.
On kexts.com web site, there are chameleon v2 RC4 installer you can try.

OK this time i really need help. This is serious.

I found out my boot loader was Chameleon 1.0.11. As you recommended i downloaded Chameleon 2 RC4 installer from kexts.com and installed it successfully. Clicked restart, new chameleon looks great, i selected macintosh partition and i got a kernel panic. It says restart your computer on the screen. Nothing else. I booted in to vista now and did some research. Found almost nothing. Asking here now. Please help.

I don't want to lose my OSX.
