Gforce 8800gt 512MB
Hi to all,
still remain with problem with my Gforce... there is no on the net a SAINT could explain me what driver to use ??
after a lot of trying i fixed the resolution on 1280x1024x32
(after modify file "com.apple.Boot.plist" to 1280x1024x32)
but now IMOVIE & FINAL CUT EXPRESS tell me that:
"IMOVIE cannot work without "Quarz Extreme" enabled....
at the moment is not supported i don't know if is for the driver... i have tryed all them but without success..
i remember first time i had install leo4all; finalcut express works correctly WHY NOT NOW ?!?!?

tnx icchansan for your help... YES i'v tryed and now; system profiler recognize my video card (i mean type and ammount of memory..) BUT there are still 2 little problems...
i cannot change the resolution and the function QUARTZ EXTREME is not supported: how can i fix it?:woz:

yes i use 10.5.2... now finally have install NVinstaller V33 and recognise
the correct card, amount of memory, and QE is enabled...
BUT ... how can i change the resolution ?!?!?
if i try the system hang on a cyan screen... and all i can do is to power off and on again the tower...
(for a second while i keep down the power button i see the correct resolution, the bye bye)

Well for 10.5.2 you should install this one, try installing it, if it doesnt work, try to update to 10.5.5 and install this one

for the resolution was enough to connect the monitor to the first connector of the graphic card... :p
but i would like ask you how can i upgrade my leo 10.5.2 to 10.5.6 ???
i tried the original from apple but hang the machine...

Oh, nice yeh sometimes that happend :D, eh you cant do that... to update to 10.5.6 you need retail disc, you can update to 10.5.5, good luck, theres another way in my tutorial, page 7
