Edimax EW-7128G - Kalyway 10.5.2 <- Kexts Available?

Hi

I've installed my first copy of Kalyway 10.5.2 onto my system, everything works fine with the exception of the wireless connection.

I have an Edimax EW-7128G wireless card ( ::: EDIMAX Technology ::: ), I have heard these will work with Mac, the manufacturer also provides Mac drivers (Ralink). The problem is even if I install the drivers the status shows "No Device!!"

System Profiler cannot find my wireless card, I am wondering if my motherboard's PCI-E slots are being recognised properly.

I have a Gigabyte GA-8I945P-G motherboard ( GA-8I945P-G - GIGABYTE - Product - Motherboard - Overview )

Any help would be greatly appreciated, will I be able to get this working or do I need to buy a new wireless card (or motherboard :( ? )

hey there mate, i just brought an edimax ew-7128g aswell thinking its gunna work wiv my mac, but it jus shows up as no device, i really dont have a clue wat the damn problem is but i remeber the cashier who sold me it asking me wat my chipset type is, sumfing to do wiv the motherboard, maybe ours dont accept it, it has to be a certain type, u see my pc is a phillips freevents mt1900 so it wasnt custom made, but everything else seemed to have worked, the sound, kernals, booting, but no wireless:D
