ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570

I was wondering if there's any word of a driver for the 4570 card. I recently bought a Dell Studio 1555, which has that card, and would really like to get the card working in Leopard.

So anyway, I tried installing almost all distributions I could find (had most success with iDeneb), but I haven't figured out a way to increase the resolution (now it's 1024x768). Has anyone at least figured out a way to push the resolution up to native (1366x768 in my case). The computer in case is a Dell Studio 1555, the specs are as follows:

Intel Core 2 Duo T6400
Intel PM45
15.6" display
4GB RAM 800MHz
320GB Serial ATA HDD
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570
Dell Wireless 1397
Dell TrueMobile Bluetooth

I managed to get some of the more important stuff to work, but the only thing missing is the resolution to be really usable.

EDIT: I noticed that the HD3600 and HD4570 have the same Device ID (9598), could this mean they are similar enough to use kexts for the 3600?

EDIT2: They also use the same GPU (RV630) so they must be compatible. So, what would be the procedure to make this thing work?

theres a kext for hd3600 series in iatkos 4.1i

iatkos isn't very good for studio 1555, so try ideneb. use ideneb 1.5.1 and under Drivers, Under Chipset, mark "AHCI Fix" and "ICHc Fixed"

i forgot how to make audio and ethernet work on this laptop, but i think you need ideneb 1.3 and pacifist.

i've never had working wireless on this laptop, but i know there is a tested solution.

so yea, go get ideneb 1.5.1 up and running and when u put the iatkos 4.1i dvd in, don't install the operating system. in fact, uncheck everything other than the HD3600 driver.

let me know what happens. i will try to get sound, ethernet, and wireless working, and i will let you know how to do it.

i have a dell 1555 with ati 4570 too. But i can't install sound driver, what driver must i chose?
