    Default nvidia geforce 8500 gt

I have installed iDeneb v1.3 successfully, however, I am having video issues(i think). when I boot with the -v flag i boots just fine until after the video kext loads. I am using nvkush currently but I have tried nvinject and get the same result.

Basically, after the video kext loads my screen turns black. I'm still getting a signal b/c the green power led stays on. Before the monitor turns black I can see that it recognizes my card b/c it showed that it found the 8500 model.

Any suggestions? Also, are there any log files I could look at? I can boot to single user mode just fine.

I have also booted with the -x option but I still get the same result, a black screen.

My video card is a nvidia geforce 8500 gt 512mb

Found my answer over on the insanelymac forums. Had to delete the
    following files from /system/library/extensions/ :
    Geforce.kext
    NVDANV10Hal.kext
    NVDANV20Hal.kext
    NVDANV30Hal.kext
    NVDANV40Hal.kext
    NVDANV50Hal.kext
    NVDAResman.kext
    NVinject.kext
    NVkush.kext

Reboot and it boots with generic video drivers. This will at least allow to to boot and finish the installation. From there you can find the correct driver for your card.
