Hello guys,

I have been trying for about 5 or 6 days now to get my OSX86 copy to get the correct graphics display. I have tried almost everything and nothing works.

I will start with my specs:

Acer T180 (modified computer)
- AMD CPU (AMD Athlon 64 3800+)
- XFX nVidia 8600 GT 512 with VGA/DVI/and S- Video. (here)

I am not sure you need more info, since everything else works (Ethernet, sound, bluetooth, etc...) except the video.

I have been on the OSX86 IRC channel and been getting a lot of help from various users, thank you! But still nothing works.

Here are some of the things I have tried:

NVEnabler, NVKush, NVInject, custom EFi string (and others I found online), NVCAP editing, NVCAP maker, device id addition to kexts, NV50, NVRes, etc... What else... Graphics Update, new kexts. I have tried to connect the card on DVI and VGA on most of my attempts, just to see if one of them works. I don't know what else to try

Anyone that can shed some light or give me some more ideas? I can post here with more info on what I have tried, and give any ideas you have... I'll let you know if I have done that or not.

Edit: I am going to give Chameleon v2 RC a spin as it says it can detect Nvidia cards

Weird, I have the same video card, try the link in my tutorial and add efi string with efi studio before restart, I had test it with DVI and VGA, dunno about HDMI

I am guessing the "How To Install" on the HP tutorial? I don't see any links in there regarding the Graphics.

I am guessing to use NVInject and EFI string?

Nothing has worked.

I tried the EFI studio string, again. It still does not work.

I don't know what else to do.
