Not Fully Shutting Down on Shutdown/Reboot
I have OS X running on my Acer laptop. I am quite pleased with my OS X install. My only problem is that OS X does not shutdown all the way. I have to force shutdowns by holding the power button. Has anyone had this problem?
Upon reboot the system acts like it was forced shut without the shutdown scripts. Is there anything that I can do to have more effective shutdown sequence? It is making my reboots take a lot longer than they should. I also think that some of my boot errors are due to the fact that I have to force the shutdown.
Forgot to mention that in verbose mode it says
unmount of /home failed
unmount of /net failed
My install is on an HP nc6400 Laptop, it shuts down fine but I have a similar issue if I put my install to sleep, how would I turn on verbose mode to see what the errors are?

Hi ppl, this is my first reply, I hope it works for you...
In order to solve that problem you should go to System Preferences, Energy saver, and finally, put both options of sleeping in Never... As the same way, uncheck the option: Put the hard disk to sleep... That worked for me.
Sorry for my English, I'm from Colombia, so...
P.S. Do you know if someone has the Intel 865G Kext? Thanks in advance. Bye.
