No sound on 10.5.8
Hello!
I have managed to install ideneb on my old Medion MT6 Med MT163.
The only problem is that i have no sound.
I have tried installing tons of audio kexts, but with no luck. i don't know if i am doing something wrong?
I have no idea what soundcard i have, except that it is onboard, and there is written 'foxconn' on it. Windows driver is Realtek AC97.
If anyone know what I need to do so solve this problem, please let me know.
And since i'm sort of a newbie to Hackint0sh, I would be really glad if you could explane it to me really simple step by step.
Thanks in advance, - Michael

Are you using Kext helper to rebuild the caches? Have you tried putting the audio kext in System/Library/Extensions (S/L/E) instead of Extra/Extensions (E/E) then repairing permissions?

Here is exactly what i do. I put the kext into kext helper. Then i run kext utility, and then i repair permissions at last. But i haven't tried to change the location where the kexts are installed, i didn't even know you could do that.
