New to this, please help
Ok, so I managed to finally install Mac OS X on my Acer Aspire 5735-4774 laptop. It's kind of sluggish but that's not a concern right now. When I did the install I just installed the OS (iAtkos v1 I believe, but not sure if that's important) no patches or anything. It actually worked this time and now I have no idea how to get network drivers or any other drivers I need.
I've searched several websites and I couldn't find an answer, so I apologize if this has been covered before but I honestly did search. I thought maybe I could just put the disk back in and reinstall but every time I put the disk in, it gives me the countdown thing where it says "press any key to boot from cd" or "press f8 for boot options". Is there any way I can get back to the install process?
Thanks for any help, I'm really lost at this point.
Well, I'm kinda new into this too, so my help might not be the best expertise!
But look up wich graphic card you have, sound card (probably integrated in your motherboard) - Check your motherboard then look up the name of the soundpart.. Then you go search them up via kexts.com and install them by kext helper!
Try that watch out for kernal panic and wrong kexts thou
