    Default Need some drivers...iDeneb 10.5.5

Hey all, first time poster LONG time reader. This is my second time actually getting OSX86 working on a PC, and my first time getting it to fully boot and be somewhat useable. This is on my new HP laptop which has the following specs:

    HP Pavillion dv4-1225dx
AMD Turion 64X2 running at 2.10ghz
    4GB 800MHZ RAM(2 2GB SODIMMS)
    320GB SATA 2 HDD
    Standard SATA DVD RW drive
    Realtek RTL8102E ethernet adaptor
    Broadcom BCM43XX wireless card
    ATI HD 3200 graphics card
    Built in keyboard and mouse
    External USB mouse

Okay, now everything EXCEPT my two internet devices works. The iDeneb install DVD has drivers for my ethernet card, but apparently they dont work for my particular setup. I have searched for both of these items, and I can't get any results for either of em. Any help would be appreciated, even if its just a point in the right direction. Oh and FYI, I am dual booting Mac OS X 10.5.5 and Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 on the same HDD using I guess EFI, or whatever is included on the install DVD. Anyways, thanks to anyone for any help!

Well, I have solved both of my problems! By using the iPC install disc that is! I could not find drivers for my devices, so I tried the iPC distro, and both work great out of the box! I now do not have sound though, my sound card is an IDT HD card. Also, does anyone know where I can get the AMD update utility? It was included with the iDeneb release, but I cannot find a download for it anywhere else. Thanks!

If it was in the ideneb disc, you can get it from the disc...

Well, it was included in the iDeneb installation, not in the user selectable packages.

    Default getting drivers of disc

hi, sorry to hijack this thread, but you implied you can get a driver of the iDeneb disc without having to completely install iDeneb.
ill explain my problem, i have iAtkos installed on my TOSHIBA SATELLITE PRO L40-17G, everything works except headphone output, sound works through the speakers but not out of the 3.5mm jack. The driver i need is located on the iDeneb disc (i know it works, i installed iDeneb and had the headphone jack working, unfortunately other things didnt ie.wifi etc so i reverted to iAtkos)

could you tell me how to install the sound driver (ALC660) from the disc, on my iAtkos leopard install?

    HUGE thanks!!!

use pacifist to look up packages from your install disk.
extract the correct kext to your desktop.
use kext helper to install the driver.

    That's it.
