Default Mac OS on HP 6520EL doesn't properly work.

hi! I've installed iDeneb on my HP and I have to write -x to make the boot... This is my configuration and what work and what not work...

    Intel Core2Duo 1.66 Ghz - FULLY RECOGNIZED
    2Gb Ram FULLY RECOGNIZED
Mobile Intel GMA X3100 (Intel GMA965Express Family chipset) WORKING
Audio: Realtek HD output NOT WORKING
IDE: Intel ICH8-E/M SATA FULLY RECOGNIZED
SD Card Reader: Ricoh I HAVE TO TRY...
Hard Disk: Western Digital BEVS 160Gb FULLY RECOGNIZED
    TouchPad: Synapsis PS/2 TouchPada WORKING
Wireless: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG NOT WORKING (when I install the drivers, the system doesn't search for the wireless card...)
    LAN: Realtek RTL8101 WORKING
Modem: Motorola SM56 I HAVE TO TRY...
    Authentec AES2501A NOT WORKING
HP Webcam RECOGNIZED BUT NOT WORKING

Can someone help me to make all the hardware work? (or, at least the sound card and the wireless card)

I have another problem. The system doesn't recognize the battery, so there isn't the indicator for the battery. How can I fix it?

    Thank you!

Word of advice, bin the 3945ABG card and put in a BCM4311 cheap as chips off ebay (About 12), I did that with my HP laptop (nc6400) best thing I ever did!

Some info here on geting it working in a HP laptop - http://www.winmatrix.com/forums/inde...howtopic=18313

As for the sound have you tried installing the Azalia Audio Package? Solved my issues straight away after installing that.

For the Battery you will need to choose the "Battery Manager Fix" from the install options at the begining, not sure if it can be added afterwards. Which Kernel are you using? If you chose the 9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel you will also need the SeatBelt fix for mounting DMG files.

I have installed Kalyway and now the pc works better. I have the Valhalla Kernel. now I see the battery but when I try to get the time remaining of the battery, it stays to calculate without do nothing. the percentage however works great! I've installed the sound card driver (ALC268) and it works flawlessly!!! Now I'm searching for the intel 3945 network's driver but it doesn't work. the network card still remains not visible for the mac OS Anyone that could help me?

The intel 3945AGB only has Beta drives its discussed at length here ..

Even if you do get it working, you can only connect to unsecured networks, I'm asuming you're not noob enough to have an unsecured network at home? So I can't see how it will be of any use.

Get a supported card off eBay and save yourself the headaches!
