Kernel issues after update
Hi, I just installed iDeneb 10.5.5 with kernel 9.2.0 Speedstep and everything works perfectly without having to use the cpus=1 flag. Applied DSDT patch, installed efi v9 chameleon xx.12 and kexts for my gpu. Now i have updated to 10.5.6 using dmg and I have to use cpus=1 flag or the pc is stuck on reset loop. I tried replacing the kernel with voodoo 9.5.0(I guess update removed the one I installed..), but then I got kernel panic when mounting dmg. Any tips on how to correct this?
Maybe I did something wrong when replacing kernel? (basically just replaced it in terminal - something more needs to be done?)
System is;
MSI P35 Platinum w/modified bios
Intel E6550
ATI x1950 Pro
4GB Memory
Edit: The kernel thing is not that important, really. Anyone knows a way to include the cpus=1 command into the bootloader thing so that i dont have to type it in every time i start? (So that it wont be stuck in an endless rebootloop if it crashes..)
