iPC 10.5.7 'connection failed' network help
Heyas folks, I am currently running iPC 10.5.6 Universal install with the Voodoo 9.5.0 kernel on my AMD Athlon64 II x2 7850 Black updated to 10.5.7. Up until I updated (using Pacifist), everything worked perfectly, even using the -force64 boot flag. The update went smoothly and I was extremely happy until I tried connecting to other computers on my network. Now I get "Connection Failed"; I cannot even click on 'connect as'. The other computers on my network are still able to connect to my iPC system no problem. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a solution; I figure it would probably involve removing a kext that the update installed (that I overlooked while deselecting in Pacifist) and replacing the right one from the iPC install DVD using Pacifist. I am not sure which one(s). Please help.
