I'm installing latest iDeneb 10.5.6 on a HP/Compaq Presario v5000, and am having a little trouble with the Networking. It has an Intel Pro 100 VE NIC and a Broadcomm BCM4311 wireless.

Aparently both the onboard LAN and the wireless module in this Laptop are supported, however I can't get either to work. I choose Wired Network - Intel Pro 100 VE and, Wireless Broadcom drivers but when setup finishes there is nothing in Network. Airport says no supported cards found. I've run LSPCI and these are the last 2 lines from the output:

06:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN [14e4:4311] (rev 01)
08:08.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation PRO/100 VE Network Connection [8086:1092] (rev 01)
I also have an issue with USB devices not being recognised when I plug them in. I tried re-installing with the IOUSB Fix Kext driver but then it Kernel Panic when I plug in a USB stick. Its an ICH7 chipset and I choose the ICHx Driver.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
