ok the darwin950 thread was removed from insanelymac by a mod who seem to have a problem with the project, anyways i managed to get two drivers working and those are for the gma950 device id 0x27ae and 0x27a2

my shuttle has intel gms 950 ox2772 chip. when I upgraded with kalyway 10.5.3 combo the resolution is now stuck at 1024 x 768. I have been searching for hours on the web for assistance and seems like you are close to a fix.

okay, I was reading a lot of forms about kext files. in particular appleintigratedframebuffer.kext. So I looked in system, library, extensions, and sure enough, the file was from yesterday at the time I ran the 10.5.3 combo updater (kalyway). So I used time machine to put the old one back from before the upgrade and it fixed my display so I can have all the resolutions again.

I was not sure it would work, and it did hang on reboot and kernal panic first time after reset, but I'm back to normal now.

2 gigs ddr2 667 memory
256 gig plus 500 gig usb for time machine

I tried to install the darwin950's 0x27a2 and rebooted after completed. But my laptop still not support QE/CI.

Next, I used the natit.kext and after that, I updated Graphic Driver from Apple Download. And now QE/CI enabled. The Finder's bar turns into transferent.

Hey Emux, I also have the 0x27a2 card, and after installing the driver it was the same as the screen shot you provided. But you mentioned installing some Graphic Driver and now QE/CI work? Which driver? where did u get it? and could you provide a screen shot to prove this? because the one you attached disproves your claim.

Any luck with this one? I have a v6000 Compaq with the same display device ID.. I can change resolutions and such, but can't get QE to work.. been looking everywhere!

The problem is that I can not reduce the brightness of the screen by pressing Fn + f8 or f7 is a 530 hp, before installing appleIntel950 worked Can I fix this?
