does anyone know of a kext that would help with the godforsaken native res on an inspiron 1545? its been a pain lately. the install Distro is IPC 10.5.6 as i cannot seem to get snowleopard working. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,
So you have one of those too.
You could go to kexts.com to dl kext for setting resolution.
Or you could specify in com.apple.Boot.plist, or boot option to try:

"Graphics Mode"="1366x1050x32"

and put your resolution there instead of those number.
