Basicly it is a problem with AppleSMBios you can get patch from here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...=post&id=29978

I was able to fix my keyboard and mouse after upate to 10.5.8 in my case it was FFScroll problem because old version works on 10.5.7 but does not on 10.5.8 and on hackintosh it causes deactivation of touchpad and keyboard . This applications if you installed them on 10.5.7 and make for example two finger scrolling causses errors during starting up OS process. Simply remove them from /Library/StartupItems/ and restart, keyboard and mouse should return. Enyway to use computer you can always connect mouse and keybord on USB.

    what I did:

    1. restart
    2. connect USB mouse and keyboard
    3. remove FFScroll and FFScrollDaemon from /Library/StartupItems/
    /Library/StartupItems/>sudo rm -R FFScroll
    /Library/StartupItems/>sudo rm -R FFScrollDaemon
    4. restart again
    5. (mouse and keyboard are back) install AppleSMBios patch
    6. restart

    I hope I helped anybody

    Default howto install

The easiest is to install KextHelper , you can download from here it is just *.app so just run it and drag&drop AppleSMBios to it and type Admin password, click install and that's it. It will automatically install module to correct pleace.
