Default i7 Gigabyte ex58 ud3r onboard sound help

Hi, hope to get some help here seeing as every thread i have ever made on insanelymac has had zero replies D: lol

Last night i installed iatkos v7 on my new i7 rig, everything went well and i managed to get my wireless card, graphics card, and everything i needed to work which is good

Next i try to get my sound working, i tried voodooHDA drivers which were reccomended for my mobo type to install when i installed the OS (from the customize option) these drivers made all of my itunes songs and all videos (youtube, quicktime etc) play at triple the speed (approx) and my sound doesn't work, although it lets me change the volume through the media keys on my keyboard

I have tried LOTS of drivers (all the ones i can find actually) and none of them work, so if anyone has any drivers that will fix my sound then i will love you forever lol

The audio chipset is alc888 ich10, apparently

    Thanks

No i couldn't get my audio working, no matter what i tried, i have tried literally EVERYTHING i can think of, and nothing has worked

It's extra annoying because all the other people in the guide i used have got the sound working no problem, and i don't understand why i can't get it to work :/
