Hi! First of all excuse me for my english.. anyway
I had the same problem with a Pavilion DV5 1172 and iDeneb 10.5.6
I've managed to partially solve it by installing some ACPI kext
Now all of the usb are working, but not always, sometimes I have to reboot the system in order to make all of them work.
It seems that the problem is related to the power that is not given to the secondary usb controller. Installing the ACPI also made my webcam work.
