Don't get the network prompt.
Tried removing the kext and re installing but still no prompt,
The card itself works and is turned on.
Is there anything else i can try?
I would just go buy a new card but there isn't enough space in my laptop, my current card is under my keyboard and it has an antenna wired to it so there isn't room for the regular PCMCIA cards.

I would have to agree with this. Sometime you spend much more time trying to get something to work. You need to put a value on your time. If it adds up to be more than the cost maybe just buy the thing

Are the drivers updated regularly on the download page someone linked earlier in the thread? Im going to install them the only problem is my wireless is WEP protected.
Luckely there is one unprotected network in my neighborhood I can connect to,

Hi guys
I'm new in the forum
I would like to say that I was able to get the device detected by the pkg and I'm running Leo 10.5.6 form iPC with Darwin Kernel 9.6.0
I haven't tested yet because from I read is not working for networks with WAP, I have to get home to change my router configuration to be open in order to see if works, anyhow if it works I won't let my router open so, like I see this device will be out of bussines for a long time until somebody pollish the drivers for it.
Can some tell me a USB/WiFi device that osX give full support in order to use it? I will appreciate the input on this.
Thanks
and keep up the good work.

I tried this install guide, everything seemed to be working and even scanning for networks, but when I selected an unprotected access point it just would not connect. Even said it was connected under my network/system prefs page, but nothing when launching my browser.
Gave up and uninstalled; waiting for stable release

I followed the instructions, and it recognized it as an ethernet adapter, and after repairing disk permissions, and restarting, I tried to use networkSelector, but it only gave me the options

It isn't detecting any wireless networks, or allowing me to turn the card on or off.
its a 3945

First of all great tutorial. I am having a little problem though. Everything worked for me except my connection drops out after about a minute or two. I then have to restart the machine to connect again, then it does the same thing. internet is good for about 1 or 2 minutes then it disconnects. Any idea if this may just be an issue with my router? I am not using security on the router.
Specs:
Dell Latitude D610
iAtkos 5i
Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG
D-Link DIR-615 Wireless Router
More Specs:
ATI Radeon Mobility X300 (no drivers yet)
Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller (^ ditto)
Intel Pentium M 1.86 GHz
2GB RAM
Thanks.
UPDATE: Figured out that it was my router configuration.
In mixed 802.11b/g/n it either doesn't connect or drops out after a few seconds.
802.11g only it connects but moves very slowly.
802.11b stable and fast connection.
So 802.11b it is. Great job to all involved with developing this driver!

I clicked on this sticky because the title looks promising, but where is the guide?
After clicking the thread title, the first post is someones reply.
