Sorry to bug you guys, but I've had my hackintosh up for less than 24 hours. Anyway, I have an HP DV5218NR laptop that I installed iAtkos v.7 on with pretty much no problem. USB is up and running, wireless works, DVD drive is ok... for the most part all systems are a "go."

The only thing that isn't up and fully functional is my graphics card. I have just the stock Intel GMA 950 (which I was told by HP is what is in there). I have tried installing some different kexts (through Kext Helper b7):

-AppleHDGraphics.kext
-NVinject.kext
-GMA950r.pkg
-patch27ae.command

None of these have solved my problem of being stuck in 1024 x 768 mode. I know my laptop supports 1280 x 800, though. Any help would be nice. Here's the specs from the Profiler.

did you tried Natit.kext?

BTW, GMA 950 as it has poor graphics performance when compared to low-end dedicated graphics cards.

So what you're saying is, basically, don't be a cheapskate and buy a new graphics card.

I installed the kext you recommended, but to no avail. I'm still stuck at this soft-looking resolution...
