Could someone help resolve an issue with an iDeneb 1.3v 10.5.5 insta

Toshiba Satellite A205-S5823 System Unit:
MMX, SSE 1,2,3
Intel Chip Set
Intel Dual Core Processor
Intel Video Card

Symptom:

When it boots it good to a blue screen then a black screen with a pointer arrow which turns to a swirly wheel...It hangs up there and don't boot up any further than that.


PLEASE HELP......What are the step by step procedures to fix this is...I am a newby to MAC install....

With the DVD inside your reader, start the machine and then press F8. Then you type `-v` and press enter, and then post your results here. I think you`re getting a `Still waiting for root device error`...
