Headphones & battery indicator status missing.
I installed my hackintosh about a month or so ago, and have been using it ever since. Seriously enjoying OSX.
However, I don't appear to have a battery indicator status, nor do I have a working headphone socket.
The laptop is a HP G5056EA (a G5000 series laptop) which is (or at least, should be) identical to the Compaq Presario C300. It's a few years old, and wasn't high spec then.
So I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction to get this laptop up to speed.
The soundcard is an on-board device, a conexant if I remember correctly. Here's the link to the driver on the HP website (link).
Sound works fine, however when I plug any headphones into the socket, nothing happens. Audio still comes from the speakers & not the headphones.
Does anyone have any links or pointers to get these two items up & running?
