    Hi,
I could not find PS2nub and any option to show battery charge also.I installed PowerManagement.bundle using OSX86 tools and ApplePS2Trackpad.kext using Kexthelper. Both of them didn't work after reboot. Then I just copied the ApplePS2Trackpad.kext to the extensions folder.
Earlier the trackpad could not be used for selection or opening a file. After reboot the system said that trackpad kext installation was not proper and should be reinstalled.
I used kext helper to reinstall the trackpad kext but then the tracking itself became very random and the selection operation was not working also.So I deleted the kext and copied it again but I get the error message on startup.
I can't use OSX86 tools to download drivers and it is giving error that it cannot connect to the host.I use authoxy under the university proxy.
I had searched earlier about the DVD drive problem and the solution give was to boot with -f.I typed -f at the point when it asks to enter -v during startup but it didn't work.
Also, the blue tooth is detected but not the WLAN.The graphics driver is shown as Intel GMA X3100 while in windows it is Intel GMA 965.

But I would really like to have the headphones to work. The built in speakers are working.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
When I click "About this Mac",it shows that the processor is Core Duo but the details options shows correctly that it is Dual Core. Also, the sounds of some fluid motion(may be coolant) comes more frequently than in Vista.
The Temperature monitor shows only one core's temperature even when it is set to display both. The temperature is around 50-56 degree Celsius. In Windows it is around 45-52.Are the more frequent fluid motions normal? The CPU and memory usage is lesser than windows as shown by the Activity Monitor.

Also, how to get the headphones working? The sound chip is 82801H (ICH8 Family)HD Audio Controller.

    Thanks!

The headphones are still not working. The installer said that analog devices would work.Only HD Audio Output is mentioned in Sound Output in System Preferences.
I deleted the ApplePS2Trackpad.kext from the Extensions folder and now the trackpad is working.
OSX86 Tools cannot download the drivers may be due to the university proxy.I tried authoxy but it didn't help.Other apps like browsers work.I tried installing cntlm through terminal but I get some make *** error 64.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I tried with the three codecs asked by OSX86 Tools but still the headphones are not detected.OSX86 Tools is not able to download and install the drivers so I downloaded and installed them using Kext Helper.I installed a driver for WLAN also but it is not detected.
The headphones are working in Windows.
    Thanks!
