Question EDIMAX EW7717UN USB Wireless network EW7717 iATKOS 7i. Help required please !

    Hi,

I have HP Pavilion Intel processor laptop. I installed iATKOS 7i and working very perfectly but it cannot see the internal wireless network adapter I have "which is Intel PRO/Wireless 3945BG" so I went to the shop and searched for any Wireless USB based network adapter that has a MAC driver coming with it and bought EDIMAX EW7717UN

I installed its MAC driver as per the manual. The manual says after reboot, I should go to network setting and configure my network and I will be able to see the USB wireless device in there BUT I CAN'T !

It seems the driver wasn't installed correctly ? Or is there a problem since iATKOS is not a genuine MAC OS ?

I appreciate any help you provide, I'm not a MAC expert.

Note: My USB ports are working since I can attach flash sticks and extrernal Hard disks with no issues.
