Default DG33BU intel quad core, Lots of trouble, help plz :(

Hello guys.
Im working hard here to make this work.
Im unsing the Ipc 10.5.6 on a Intel Buffalo Creek DG33BU
After try severeal kernels on the insltalation the leopard finaly worked, but I still got a lot of trouble
Troble list:
-When I mount any instalation the Leopard crash and ask to reset.
-CD/DVD its not working
-My Creative XFi Fataly sound card still not working.
-The Leopard only start up if I disconect the windows XP HD, and if put the Ipc 10.5.6 DVD o.O, crazy no?

I did anything wrong? Any 1 can help me with wich kernels i should use?

I need to use mac for music my job, and I realy cant buy a $MacPro$ XD

Any answer its welcome, thx.

Hellow im new using hackintosh to , i had those problems to.

I found the solution using a diferent kernel and diferent bootloader

I recommend you to try the Chamaleon Bootloader
and Kernel 9.2.0 Kernel TOH

Also i think you are getting this error beacuse u dont select a SMBIO´S for x86
Go to SMBIOS Drivers >> SMBIOS Enables >> SMBIOS' for x86
and choice one im already using i think AppleSMBIOS netkas and AppleSMBIOS-2-6th rev. iMAC

Also select a ACPI i recommend you the x86 ACPI.

Remember if you dont have a usb mouse or keyboard you need to select that option (x86 ACPI) and also on ACPI need to select PS/2

I hope this configurations works for you try it

About your HD ( HARD DRIVE ), you think you are using 2 HD.
1 for windows and 1 for Mac os x86.

To select a HD you must go to bios... to select the boot hd
i mean which hd you are gonna use

Like i have the Maxtor 80 GB ( WHIT XP ) and the Maxtor 40 GB ( MAC OS X86 )

If i want to use mac os i need go to bios and set the boot device which is the Maxtor 40 gb

That configuration works for me and now Hackintosh detect my pc as Mac Pro.

GOOD LUCK

Default Thx a lot :)

Ho thx a lot Ostrovsky

Yes Im using 1 HD for Windos XP and 1 HD for MAC. I chaged the boot HD in the bios, but still joing in the windows, so I have to disconect the windows HD cable. Maybe its a problem of the mother board, duno.

But the most weird is that the MAC only start up if I put the Ipc 10.5.6 DVD before turn on the PC o.O
If I dont put the DVD the motherboard try to make a kind o test and the test fails, it says: pxe-e61 media test failure

I found about that on this forum: pxe-e61:media test failure check cable

But all the coments are from windows users XD

Im going to try the stuff that you recomended me.
And again, Thx so much.

Default Lg dvd

Humm its IDE

Now I realized that the Ethernet its not working to XD. I reinstaled the OS again but still not reconize the ethernet, then i downloaded the Intel82566MM.kext and the AppleIntel8255x.kext and instaled then with the Kext helper b 7. The ethernet still not working XD

Well anyway, the worst problems are gone, just have to fix the Ethernet and the DVD, I think that I will try to reinstall again, maybe it works.

Thx again.

Default Etherrnet fixed

With the 9.3.0 Sleep Kernel, the Ethernet works, but even with the cameleon the boot crash.
I will try to reinstall one more time.
