I just installed my first hackintosh last night. Got my sound and display working somewhat. Never been on a Mac. Been a learning curve so far. Although I have looked all over for methods to get my 3D acceleration to work on my 4890. I got OSX to recognize the card by the method of downloading the drivers and forcing it to utilize it. I tried to get the 3D working but nothing works. I must be doing something wrong. Running Kalyway 10.5.2.

Try iAtkos v7

I started with the same distro of kaly as you, though I didn't have any display issues, just wasn't satisfied with how it ran... so I installed iAtkos v7 and everything is working like a charm... except the fact that it goes to sleep after boot, and wont wake. This issue shouldn't affect you, as I've only found people complaining about it with the inspiron 1525.
