Default Dell D420 - Mostly working...

So I got a Dell D420 up and running with iPC 10.5.6 and updated to 10.5.8 using the combo update and the dell post install 1.4.1 package... I've already swam through a sea of threads and wondering if anyone can either tell me outright or point me in the right directions for a few questions... maybe a link or 2 would be nice.

Fixed - 1. My battery icon appears, and works until I come out of sleep, then it just sits and calculating time remaining, does anyone know of a better battery icon kext or package out there.

    2. I only sort of have sleep working, I'm wondering if there is a better fix for this. Currently, I've set a hard drive password and that forces the screen back on, I'd like to get that working without having to type in the password.

    3. I've been unsuccessful getting the Broadcom 57xx Gigabyt ethernet working... this isn't a huge deal, but it would certainly give me piece of mind, I've tried about a dozen different things with replacing the kext etc.

Fixed - 4. When I bring up the about this mac, it says 1.8 Ghz Dual Core, this is actually a 1.2 Ghz Dual Core, I'd like to correct that if possible

Fixed - 5. I tried to install iWork, it won't let me type for some reason, not sure what that's all about, I downloaded it twice and got the same issue to no avail

Fixed - 6. My mouse icon will randomly appear in multiple places that I've moved past, it'd be nice to fix that issue, it seems like a video driver issue

Fixed - 7. If I hook up an external monitor, it will display to that monitor and work while it's on that monitor, then when I unplug my screen goes crazy and I reboot, and the background doesn't come up, and I have to reinstall the video drivers...

    Thanks for your time.
