    Default Jailbreaking Iphone 3gs factory unlocked with Ios 4.2

    I have a factory unlocked iphone 3gs with Ios 4.2 i need to know wether it my phone would get locked if i jailbreak it.i am currently facing a problem with the caller id.even when i have the number in my contact list,it does not show the name when i recieve a call.That is why i tought of jailbreaking so that i can fix the problem with cydia

    If it is a factory unlocked iphone then jailbreaking will not lock your iphone.
    Before jailbreaking to attempt to fix your problem (if there is a fix ?), what carrier are you on ?
