Yes, it is (working right now). But rather than asking on the forum, you could just go to Down for everyone or just me?, type in 'jailbreakme.com' and hit enter. It will tell you whether the site is down.

Odd -- AND you're not the first person to show me that (so it's definitely not just you). I refreshed it and opened on my device and got the proper jailbreakme.com page, but one of my co-workers was asking me as well, telling me he had a placeholder and sent me the same screencap -- though at the same time, I was getting jailbreakme just fine....

What IP address is jailbreakme.com resolving to for you? 66.114.54.26? Have you also tried going to http://www.jailbreakme.com with the www. in front of it?

It's really weird, because I've tried it on several iDevices (3GS, 4, ipad, etc) and macs, over Wi-Fi or 3G, it's always the same.

I too am seeing the page from the above screenshot. I tweet'd Comex, but didn't hear back. Hope someone gets on that soon!

It happens to me too, both my iPhone and iPad.
Somehow lighttpd shows the placeholder instead of index.html
Just type jailbreakme.com/index.html on your iDevice, and you should see the normal slide to unlock screen.
Or if you know what device and firmware you have, you can go to jailbreakme.com/_/ and just click on the correct pdf. You can even download the pdf so that you won't be dependent on the availability of the official website in the future.
BTW, remember to close the door behind you by installing PDF Patch in Cydia.
