Iphone 4 iOS 4.1 jail break help needed
iphone 4 currently jailbroken at 4.1
I would like to upgrade to iOS 5 if possible as long as i can maintain my jailbreak.
I have saved the 4.1 shah blobs although i don't kno what that means.
I have not jailbroken anything in a while and would like to make sure I don't goof things up.
Would someone please list what I need to do.
I have researched most things butI am not confident because the dates of the tutorials i have read are old.
Thanks in advance. Mike

The only available jailbreak for you at present is a tethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1. While there is the possibility in the near future of using a tool released by ih8sn0w to use 5.0.1 SHSHs for your phone to restore to 5.0.1 (this is presently blocked by the apticket nonce), the tool hasn't yet been released. As such, if you were upgrading, you could only upgrade to 5.1 and there is no untethered jailbreak for that -- you'd have to re-jb every boot.
If you wanted to do this, use iTunes to upgrade to 5.1 and then use redsn0w to jailbreak.
