No you currently can NOT be unlocked iPhone4. They have said it will be released in 48hrs after some testing.

When i try this all i get is the background image, I never get a "Downloading" or "Jailbreaking" status at all. Then after a while I just close out of safari and go back and it said it crashed and try it again.
Did you have this problem?

i had to turn wifi off, and do a phone reboot ( home button and power button) to make it work on mine......

I actually searched for this and I just realized this was in the iphone 4 section. Im trying to do this on a 3gs, so Im assuming this only works for the iphone 4

how would i be able to open safari on a new out of the box iphone 4 without a valid sim card from that carrier? i only see the emergency "connect to itunes" screen
