I'm still on 3.2 with my iPad 3G (with SHSH on file of course ) so when I get home I'll upgrade to 3.2.1 and see if I can dupe, get some good crash logs and send along to Comex.

Can we use this thing for Itunes updated ios 4.0.1 on iphone 3gs without any problems?? and also do we still need to save shsh blob thing?

You definitely need to save SHSH blob.

Apple will close this hole very quickly and they will stop signing 4.0.1 SHSH blobs. (Apple has already stopped signing 4.0 SHSH blobs for iPhones)

You can use iOS 4.0 or 4.0.1 with this jailbreak.

iOS 4.0.2 or iOS 4.1 will block this jailbreak - do not update.

The version of iTunes - not sure about this yet, my guess is it doesn't matter. When we get more definite information about this - we will confirm that.

is ios 4.0.2 released? do you think itunes will update to ios 4.0.2 or 4.1 instead of 4.0.1?

No iOS 4.0.2 is not released - but this jailbreak exposes a serious hole that could be used to install viruses simply by visiting a web site and downloading a PDF. Apple will take this seriously and WILL patch it soon.

They will either release 4.0.2 (soon) or they will fix this in 4.1 (due in a month or so) - when the fix is released it will be impossible to restore 4.0.1 without cached SHSH.

So you have between a week and a month to backup your SHSH for 4.0.1 so you can stay jailbroken.

The server is very busy the scalability issues are huge.

Follow comex's twitter stream for updates or simply wait a few days until the demand dies down. You are better off backing up your 4.0.1 SHSH asap and waiting until the jailbreak website stabilises.

activation with onesim and jailbreak worked fine for my german tmobile iphone 4 running 4.0 great job guys!!! now waiting for the unlock

I have been trying to jailbreak.com my iPhone 4 for the past 2 days and it still will not work , it try to load and says " A server with the specified host name could not be found" yet I just tried it on a iPhone 3G which I just restored to 4.0.1 and it loaded straight away.
I also just tried it on a iPhone 2g and it was going to load but it said " Cydia is already installed on this device if you continue it may cause problems" or words to that effect. But I still can't get it to work on iPhone 4 even deleting cache and history etc with iPhone on aeroplane mode.

Does anybody have any expirience with this problem and can anybody suggest trying something else.
