I din't get a hard reset. I just see the Background forever...
Is it possible that the problem is the unlock with OneSim? Anybody made the jailbreak with unlock 'OneSim'?

If you are stuck at the purple screen, do these steps!!! (Only on 3GS or 4) 1) put your iphone to Airplane mode. 2) Go to -> Setting -> safari -> Cookies -> Accept. 3) Double tap home button. 4) Press and hold to quit safari (in multitask mode) 5) Clear all Cache n cookies. 6) Open safari and go to jailbreakme.modmyi.com 7) If cannot, Repeat!

Did a soft reset, Hold power and home button until the iPhone powers off. then powered up again
Now visiting jailbreakme.com works
3GS on IOS 4.0 sucessfully jailbroken :-)

Worked fine on m'y 4.0.1 3GS,
But my ipad jus shut down have to reset it after.
Will try a full reflash.
