Unhappy Stuck in recovery mode loop: I need to rescue all my data and photos!!!!

Hi, I've an iPod Touch 2g firmware 4.2.1 jailbroken with greenpois0n rc5, and now it's stuck in a recovery mode loop (I can't get out of that, I've tried so many programs yet, like TinyUmbrella, iRecovery, RecBoot, that programs aren't able to kick off this recovery mode loop, neither in DFU mode...).
So, I think the only way to restore my iPod to a normal state is to restore with iTunes...
But before my iPod gets restored, I want to recover ALL my applications data, expecially the contents of an app named "my photo albums", that contains 3-4 GB out of photos and videos...
I need to know exactly how to use the software "Data recovery: not just for iBoot-pwned devices", because I've jailbroken my iPod with Greenpois0n rc5, and isn't told if this exploit is supported by this software.
I want to know another thing: once the iPod filesystem's backup is done, I can check the backup to see if the photos of my interest are been saved?
And what's means that this method is recovery-destructive?
Then, if I've understood, when the backup is been generated by the software, I must do a restore with iTunes from backup and choose the created backup?

I have similar issue, jailbroken my IPHONE3G with redsnow_win0.9.6.b.6 but I have the itunes logo and a usb cable is stuck on my iphone screen. I tried recoveryfix.exe and also DFU mode with no luck to get back to a normal mode. Itunes says unable to restore and says error 1015. How do I get my phone back to normal mode. Any help would be so appreciated.

The problem is the same, but the causes are very different...
Blossom, your problem is a bad attempt to make a jailbreak, and my problem (I think...) is a damaged firmware that doesn't let the iPod booting...so I need to insert a new firmware by downgrading my iPod (since I've 4.2.1 on 2g)...But I don't want to restore the iPod, so I would like to know if there is a way to downgrading without restore...
Thanks so much to everyone for the reply

According to Apple, the photos get backed up in iTunes when you do a sync/backup, so connect your ipod touch to iTunes and restore from the latest backup.
It's not a good idea to store photos in the camera roll of your ipod. Or, you might still have chances to recover the deleted iPod photos. Not from iPod or iTunes, just from your Mac machine. It just depends on when your deletion happens, before or after your most recent sync? If this happened after that, then probably you could rely on this data recovery program to get the lost photos back. Regards.

There is worry about your deleted photos from iPod. Because you can easily recover them by using iPod Recovery Software. The software can also recover deleted photos from the iPod even after restoring to factory settings also. It can also restores the photos after formatting also. By using this software you can easily recover ipod photos with out missing a single one.

Oh,in this situation, I think you have better to use a recovery tool which contains a preview function so that you can preview the photos before you change anything and then, recover data from iPod. Right?

To overcome this problem immediately use a data rescue iPhone recovery software. Along with quick recovery it restores the data in a new location. It also provides user to have preview of data before recovery process starts.
